“It is now 3 years since I bought this mattress. It remains not only the best mattress I have ever bought, but the best I have ever slept on: and I'm a fussy sleeper. The previous 2 didn't even last a year, before being cast aside as either too hot or uncomfortable. It's proper Goldilocks; just right.”

Hi Kate, Many thanks for the review. The mattress when new, will feel a little firm - as all of the natural fillings will not have had enough time to relax. It's a bit like breaking in a new pair of leather boots! If the mattress does not soften enough, we can most defiantly look into exchanging this for a softer tension for you.
