Super comfortable mattress but incredibly deep - we’re still trying to find fitted sheets that work on it without pinging off though. Worth bearing in mind if you view in the showroom and go for a higher bed as it makes it all very high. That being said, most comfortable mattress I’ve ever had

The Perendale mattress is proving to be very comfortable - firm without being hard; well sprung but not lumpy. Our previous mattress was foam - the contrast with the Perendale could not be greater. We are pleased we made the change. Andrew

We chose this mattress as it was the most comfortable of the beds we tried in the showroom. It was a delightful surprise to find it wasn’t the most expensive!

Due to pillow top a king feels much more like a double bed. A little harder than expected but will hopefully mould to my body in time. Slightly smaller than bed base (b&s) but may expand when it settles with time.

Hi Jillian, Thanks for this review. The mattresses do take a few weeks to properly wear in - it's like breaking in a new pair of leather shoes that at first feel quite tight / firm. The mattresses will also take a little while to relax (and sometimes slightly expand!), this being because they are handmade products - and over the first few weeks the stitching will give a little and the fillings will relax. You do have the 100 nights trial period - and ultimately we will ensure that you have a mattress that you are 100% happy with. :) Best, Sophia

We initially went into the showroom to try the Galway and the Montadale but was so impressed with the Perendale that it was a no brainer. We liked the Perendale because it has the layer of squishy filling on TOP of the body of the mattress rather than inside the mattress body - it's like a built in mattress topper and it's glorious! We have had our Perendale mattress for a week ago now and it's so comfortable that we don't want to get up. I would buy another one in 10 years' time.
