Hi Ben, Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review! The best way get a sense of fabric colour is to view the sample in the bedroom itself. Indeed lighting can have an effect on how the fabric is perceived, also factors like whether the bedroom is north or south facing. Another tip: if in doubt - or deciding between two colours, always go a shade lighter! Ultimately we want you to be happy with the bed! If you come to the conclusion that the fabric choice is not quite right, you do have 100 nights to exchange for an alternative fabric. All best, Sophia
