Please share your thoughts on any specific tours or hotels that you would recommend or would not recommend? The kayaking was fantastic and a "must do" as was sleeping on the ice.

Were any of the activities you participated in during your trip designed to protect the environment? If so, please share details about your experience. Every trip ashore was done to ensure minimal impact on the environment. The decontamination process was effective and easy to comply with.
Describe the aspects of your itinerary that you thought worked really well. no
A great trip on a capable ship with less than 200 passengers. Antarctica was a highlight of my travels to date. The scenery was spectacular and seeing the abundant wildlife up close was a thrill. The onboard organisation was faultless and seamless no matter what changes were required by the weather. The adventure team of guides was helpful, professional and friendly and their knowledge and skills were instrumental in the overall experience.

Describe the aspects of your itinerary that you thought needs improving Fantastic activities in amazing locations. Expectations totally exceeded. Appreciated the free day in Ishuaia commencement
Were any of the activities you participated in during your trip designed to protect the environment? If so, please share details about your experience. The landing in Antarctica were preceded by quarantine protocols, foot baths and minimum distances to animal as well as expedition experts assessing sites for bird flu, this was fantastic. It could be made even better if in the lectures across the Drake, it included a behavioral presentation, showing what to look for with animal reactions ( flight and stress behaviors) so passengers have an awareness on top of the great work by expedition staff to monitor both animal and passengers behavior. Lots of people have not encountered wildlife in close proximity and behavioral tips would be great
Describe the aspects of your itinerary that you thought worked really well. This could be achieved in Tierra del Fuego
The Antartica expedition cruise was an amazing adventure, the best ever. Experienced, knowledgable and personable expedition guides, great locations and activities, amazing wildlife, fantastic meals and very ably lead by Captain Jock. Totally recommend this to friends and family.

How satisfied were you with the planning of your itinerary?
Describe the aspects of your itinerary that you thought needs improving I ended up planning all my flights and hotels (at my Chimu travel agent’s suggestion!).
Please share your thoughts on any specific tours or hotels that you would recommend or would not recommend? Excluding South America all together. Just do Antarctica. But because you travel all that way you feel as though you should spend time there. DONT!

How satisfied were you with the planning of your itinerary?
Describe the aspects of your itinerary that you thought needs improving No. The main problem was that I wanted to do all the activities that were included.
Please share your thoughts on any specific tours or hotels that you would recommend or would not recommend? Hotels were fine. The Wyndam Garden Hotel in Ushuaia has no idea on catering for meals

Were any of the activities you participated in during your trip designed to protect the environment? If so, please share details about your experience. The emphasis clearly, was to minimise the impact on the environmement. ie Leave not trave of you ever having been there. Biosecurity, precautions were strickly adopted on all outings.
Describe the aspects of your itinerary that you thought worked really well. In our 3 night stay in Buones Aries there was somevtime to connect with local communities.
We couldn't have had a better experience. We could not have done this trip without Chimu's organisation. They ensured that we were picked up on time for connections. They organised accommodation and cultural tours and experiences in Buones Aires. Once on Intrepid's Ocean l expedition team took over to ensure that all excursions and activities ran sermlessly. We had great weather and managed 9 excursions out on the Zodiacs, with each landscape and landing different from the last. The landscape gives you a sense of how insignificant you are. Lectures and briefings had a scientific and historical focus with an emphasis on Antarctica's ecology and biodiversity. I was fortunate enogh to particiipate in the Photography group liead by 3 highly experienced photographers. The photography group was the first group out and about each day to find the iconic shots of icebergs, penguins, seals, whales etc. Meal times were flexible to cater for changes in excursions. The meals on the ship were great, catering for all tastes. The Argentinian Malbecs were pretty tast as well. The Ocean Endevour was comfortable, and the crew were always there to cater for all ourneeds. The expidition group kept us informed of daily updates and briefings. There must have been hundreds of things that all had to come together to make the daily activities work and somehow it just happened.. Well done.

Chimu, you looked after the airfares and transfers beautufully. Particularly since English was not spoken by the transfer drivers, the information they needed to pick us up and deliver us safely to our destination and carry our luggage to and from the car was swift and friendly. Thankyou so much. It all ran like clockwork. Sandra Stott

How satisfied were you with the planning of your itinerary?
Please share your thoughts on any specific tours or hotels that you would recommend or would not recommend? We felt cheated that day 1 at the hotel dinnerwas not included and day 2 had no planned activities until boarding the boat in the late afternoon. Not really a 21 day inclusive trip.
A very special part of our world
