“We were extremely fortunate as far as the weather went so were able to experience all the landing and zodiac cruises as planned and even were able to have an extra landing due to favourable seas and weather. The ship, the Ocean Victory, together with her crew and expedition crew were excellent”

Describe the aspects of your itinerary that you thought worked really well. All the days on board the were perfectly organised. Only thing that could be improved was the time before boarding the ship, there was no place to shelter or wait. Walking around Ushuaia in the rain for half a day can be challenging. Some sort of waiting room would be good.

Describe the aspects of your itinerary that you thought needs improving Providing a shelter of some sort on the day of embarkation. Having to wait in the rain in Ushuaia is not great fun.

“Its hard to put it into words. Antarctica is a unique place and nothing compares, its beauty, wildlife, isolation and diversity is like no other place on earth. I only hope it will be protected for all mankind and that tourism will be strictly monitored and limited. Some passengers were insensitive to the fragility of the place and at times the expedition team could and should have been more assertive with reprimanding those passengers.”

“We had an amazing experience aboard the Ocean Victory in Antarctica. The whole trip is out of this world: the views, the activities, the wildlife, the team, the boat and the food, all outstanding. Cannot recommend more!”

Describe the aspects of your itinerary that you thought worked really well. Well organised and friendly staff. The fact the ship went where it was best to go and not on a set path added to the incredible sightings and experience.

Describe the aspects of your itinerary that you thought needs improving The flights were suddenly earlier than the ground staff anticipated but there was no contact or Whatsapp group to inform the guests to return to the hotel sooner.

“Our Quark crossing the cirlce Antarctica was a trip of a lifetime! We saw so many animals and enjoyed fantastic weather and landscapes. The staff on board and our expedition team were sensational.”

Walking tours of Buenos Aires and Santiago with history graduates , visiting Antarctic huts , daily lectures by experts on geology , biology and climate science whilst on the ship. Kayak expeditions with experienced guides.

Describe the aspects of your itinerary that you thought needs improving Pretrip communication was sub optimal. Our final itinerary did not include flight details - this was resolved by an email to local rep.
