Describe the aspects of your itinerary that you thought worked really well. Before and after cruise private tours, guides and drivers where all fantastic, especially given we were travelling to a non-English country which meant no stressful moments!

“Words can't describe this amazing place and you have to see it to believe its wonder and beauty. Chimu looked after all aspects of our trip and made this a truly stressfree adventure. We cruised with Albatross Expenditures and they made sure we were off the ship every opportunity there was! Can't recommend Chimu highly enough,especially our agent in Australia, Karen Scholes,who looked after us beautifully and was always responsive to our questions.”

Describe the aspects of your itinerary that you thought worked really well. It worked well because the staff were always mindful of the weather and conditions and pivoting when they could to give us the best experience possible

Describe the aspects of your itinerary that you thought needs improving I couldn't fault Polar Latitudes but the camping was not well done. I was not told by Chimu when I booked that the camping spots were already gone and we were on a waitlist even though I specified that I was keen for all the activities especially camping. There was no “waitlist” rather we were randomly assigned when spots came up. This was stressful as it seemed like we might miss out.

“The trip of a lifetime, we picked the right ship the SeaVenture, the best time of year December and the right company, Polar Latitudes. I would have booked directly with them if I had known I could.”

Describe the aspects of your itinerary that you thought needs improving nothing, I think this was the perfect trip.

“A journey that is well worth taking. Antartica is just breath taking. The vessel as well as the members of the crew (hotel, bridge, dining, excursions and technical) made this trip well worth it.”

Describe the aspects of your itinerary that you thought worked really well. The zodiac tours, restaurant, including amazing staff, like Riza, Thea’s and Peter. In general everything worked well.

“It far exceeded our expectation, it was an amazing experience, one that we will remember. The Ocean Victory was a great choice, Captain George kept us safe and took us to fantastic places, we were able to cross the Antarctic Circle, which was a great bucket list tick. We had amazing adventures on the zodiacs, with knowledge and skilled crew.”

“WOW, what a place. It's so beautiful, and so precious. I would really like to see tourism limited to the Antarctica, even more than it is. Only small ships allowed and small numbers both ships and people per year. I feel truely blessed I went with Polar Expeditions, through Chimu for my experience. They are true professionals and I believe the leading companies in this region, both in protection of Antartic and quality of tour. What an amazing lifetime experience.”
