Had a great time with Simon and Hanna. Loved the insight into the history of sushi. Took their time explaining the method and made it a fun experience throughout. Would highly recommend!

Simon and Hanna teach an incredibly fun and educational Beginners’ Sushi Making class. This class is a special gem and I’m recommending it to everyone. Before I took the class, I had prepared myself for disappointment. The class was gifted to me and I’m an OK home cook. To my surprise, the class takes place in a one-of-a-kind shop that makes its own ingredients. (I couldn’t leave without buying homemade pickled ginger, pickled daikon, and chilli oil.) Simon and Hanna taught me how to make my own delicious salmon and avocado roll and tempura prawn roll. I plan to use the technique at home so that I can make sushi for my family. The best part of the class is that you can eat your mistakes. :)

We signed up for the beginners' Sushi class and it was an amazing experience! Simon shared a great history of sushi and Hanna was a wonderful and helpful teacher!

The class was brilliant and I thoroughly enjoyed it. We learnt about the history of sushi and Japanese cooking and the main ingredients required. We then got hands on practical experience making sushi whilst being expertly guided by Simon and his wife. The food we made was delicious and there was plenty to take home as well. I cannot recommend this class enough, it was brilliant.
