“I enjoyed this Japanese street food making class. The teacher was very understanding and helpful.
Chicken teriyaki skewers and Okonomiyaki were fun to make. I didn’t see value in spending time making pork katsu skewers. Instead takoyaki would have fun to learn to make.”
“This Japanese cooking class was amazing! I learned to make yakitori, kushi katsu, and okonomiyaki, and everything turned out so good! The teacher explained every step clearly and made the class really enjoyable. I can’t wait to try these recipes again at home. Highly recommend!”
“Way above expectations.
Our chef and teacher Ken made the day fun, interesting and rewarding. He made it easy to understand the intricacies of Japanese cooking with great cultural knowledge and experience mixed with his humouros personality.
I especially liked the detailed explanations of what was happening with the cooking method plus some very important safety and food hygiene tips.
We certainly learned how to make the meals easily and produce a professional result for ourselves at home.
Our Japanese Street food on the day was as tasty as you would get in many restaurants.
Everyone in my family enjoyed the experience and we now are considering what's next to learn from Ken.”
“Such fun. Ken was a wonderful teacher, explaining every step with easy to follow instructions. Food was super tasty and recipes easy enough to recreate at home. Learnt some great tips such as how to flip omelette easily and how to stop yakitori sticks from sticking. Highly recommend”
“This class was so good! I went with my parents and we all had a great time. The food was really tasty and wasn't too hard to cook. Ken was an awesome teacher, he gave clear instructions and made the class a lot of fun for everyone. Eating what we cooked and chatting as we went with Ken and the others really made it feel realxed and a nice environment. Overall great class, and cannot recommend Ken enough as the teacher he was fantasic.”
