“A lovely Xmas gift from my daughter! The class was held in South Yarra in a beautifully-lit room surrounded by plants. You were able to choose which bonzai tree and pot you liked, there was a good variety for the number of people in my group. My instructor was knowledgeable, personable and made the class interactive and fun. I left making some great friends and my cherished bonzai that will hopefully last me many years to come! “This class was a great way to learn the basics of creating a bonsai.
The teacher was a lovely, calm presence - clearly very knowledgeable, experienced and well placed to guide students. Creating and taking care of a bonsai is a metaphor for creating and taking care of your own life, and if you look at it from that perspective, the class is both philosophical, thought provoking and very practical.
Class is not too long, relaxed, a great little add in to your weekend without taking it over! Very satisfying to take home a piece that although small, is pleasing to the eye, and very obviously a bonsai. Take this class if you love learning, plants and creating :)”
