My husband and I took Joel’s 6-hour croissant and pastry-making class as a wedding anniversary treat, and it was absolutely worth it! Joel is an incredible teacher—he explained everything so clearly, was super welcoming, and even took the time to remember everyone’s name. He created such a friendly and comfortable atmosphere, which made the whole experience even better.
The class was hands-on and definitely a workout, but the results were beyond worth it! We each left with 15 beautiful pastries plus a dough to take home for more baking. The value for money is unbeatable, and we learned so much. If you’re thinking about taking this class, do it! Just be ready to work hard and be amazed at what you can create.

Joel had great energy. He had everything prepared and organised and made following the steps super easy. He was on hand to help when I managed to get my butter sneaking out of the dough (oops, don’t forget to flour your workspace…)

“The class is very enticing. Chef Joel is very knowledgeable and kind to explain everything, he is helpful and attentive to students. Encourages questions and we had great discussions about baking. His presentation of the finished products is excellent. I really enjoyed the dough making, kneading, rolling, shaping, and of course the tasting. They all very yummy. Kitchen is clean, organising of the ingredients can still be improved. Hope he could teach making cakes and dessert in the future.”
