“This review isn't about the powder,but about the customer service at Coffee Bean. I somehow got snagged in to a subscription, and there is no way to cancel it. I have tried calling. the support at coffee bean email address is non existant.”

“I bought this in a smaller container that I no longer see available online but my family and I loved it so much it only lasted about a month so I had to order the big size. This is our favorite hot chocolate brand!!! We love y'all!!! I always wait for the free shipping codes other wise I'm paying $30 lol so I'm so happy I was able to buy my favorite powder on a free shipping deal, thank you Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf y'all have the most perfect delish powders, tea, and coffee!”

“the chocolate is what I expected, but I had the product in my cart, but because of the shipping fee, my plan was to add more to my cart to avoid the shipping fee. I did not click buy, but somehow it was shipped without that. I was not happy, because was planning on when and If would buy because the shipping charge costed 50% of the cost of the product. so not happy with this practice. the chocolate is fine. not happy with the service”

“TLDR: LOOK AT EXPIRATION DATE. I would normally give CBTL a 10 out of 5 star rating, because I have been a loyal, loving customer for about 23 years - since highschool. Every Friday I would go to the mall with my BFF and we would get Coffee Bean, I always had the hot vanilla drink. I have been ordering the powders to have at home since 2018 (I unfortunately do not have a CBTL near my house anymore). My recent order delivered powders that were manufactured over one year ago, with an expiration date of three months from delivery. I do not finish these powders that quickly, and to me, it would have been a waste of money. The CS team did refund me $30 for the order of four cans, so I guess that makes it better. But, I wish I would have received a longer lasting powder. (yes, they do get stale, and you can taste the difference, IMO). But honestly, overall, I love these powders. They make a delicious "weekly treat" drink.”

“We do not have a Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf location anywhere near our town. It is so nice to be able to buy their products on line. Communication and shipping were fine; we received our shipment in rural Colorado in about a week, and were very pleased with the packaging and freshness of the product.”
