Good little coffee maker. Lone issue is what to do if the plastic water holder is cracked - can they send that part to you? Have to inspect machine upon getting it due to cracks in the water holder due to shipping.

My first CBTL was defective but the replacement was swift and this one is great. Getting through to CBTL was challenging without the option to speak to anyone but after several emails it was a success. Using Covid as a reason for slow response is wearing thin - hire more people!

Reliable & easy to use. Not too noisy or too slow. Like the three delivery options for varying strength of brew. Delivers consistently good coffee.

Love,it love it. I have and will ONLY use this coffee maker and coffee. We've had it for years (and buy new ones all the time and gift them too)

We absolutely love this machine! There are 3 of us that use it daily and it’s held up great! So happy we bought it. Side note: We order the espresso pods and they always get to us quickly.

We love the CBTL Coffee Brewer. The coffee tastes far superior to other at-home brewers (which we have sampled over the years). Making coffee is easy and readjusting the water to get the perfect brew also is simple. If you follow the instructions, descaling is cumbersome, but not too difficult to do. So far we have purchased three machines since they only last for about two years (this is the only reason I gave this machine a 4-star rating). I still highly recommend purchasing this brewer since you will never be disappointed by the perfect cup of espresso, coffee, or tea you brew.

So the old classic Kaldi S04 finally departed this world, and I bought a new Lieto. The Kaldi had its flaws - held very little water in its reservoir, and it was drippy. Liquid still came forth after the given cycle was completed, and it even sloshed excess liquid into the internal tray. Still, it did the job and for a long time - about six years, so complaints It earned its rent. The new Lieto is a total redesign, and it's clear that the designers went through the effort of addressing the old version's weaknesses. When the pump stops, the drips stop, and its vertical design allows for a much bigger water reservoir along with a smaller footprint. The Lieto uses an "always on" strategy which means there's no wait time for the water to heat up - just drop in a capsule and go. All in all, so far, a big improvement overall. And I'd like to speak a moment to the quality of the result. I won't say that a cup of CBTL espresso (which is all I consume) is any better than that produced with the old Kaldi, but both machines turn out a cup that's far superior to any K-cup offerings I've had. Real thick crema and a rich, deep, distinct flavor. No comparison, really, and I don't find this factor written about much for some reason. CBTL system brews simply taste better - by a lot.
