“I was originally introduced to the previous CBTL single serve coffee machine generation and was in love with it. Every cup of coffee and espresso was perfect. I now owned this newer model and is even better. One of the main reason that I love this machine is the simplicity of the machine and the output expresso quality. Each cup is always prefect! “I have intentionally waited to write my review because I wanted to make sure I was giving a fair review. I absolutely love the delicious flavor of the coffee made in the coffee maker. The temperature of the beverage is very important to me because I love a very hot cup of coffee. However after using this coffee maker for two months it goes into a “needs descaling” mode. Apparently they are very serious about the descaling feature because the coffee maker will not work until the entire procedure is carried out. The manual says this process should take 25 minutes. NOT… it took much longer. Unfortunately when I came back to order the descaling product I never received it in the mail according to the tracking number it was delivered but we were home that day and never received it so I had to reorder from Amazon and finally received the descaling product. We carefully followed the very long detailed instructions and we assumed when we got up the next morning we would enjoy a cup of coffee… NOT the machine is still in a holding pattern of some kind and at 5:00 AM I was in no mood to drag out the manual and try to figure out what went wrong. Bottom line is we like the look, size, taste of this coffee maker but if you want something easy to maintain go elsewhere. I am now resorting to turning the machine completely off and unplugging it for several minutes before using it. NOT FUN. But hey, what a tasty cup of coffee.”
“I'm not too fond of the coffees, but I use espresso with the 10 or 12 ounce settings to make a strong, coffee shop-style mug. I've been doing this for a number or years and love it. The last time I looked, there wasn't another brand that could do this.”
“I have an older version of this machine but let me shout it to the world this is the BEST coffee ever!! Throw away any other machine you might have even the one beginning with the letter "K" because this machine produces the best taste and fresh coffee you will ever have. It's almost as if you have stepped into a CBTL location but in the comfort of your own home! I live in a state where CBTL locations do not exist but I feel I have a little bit of my southwest with me everyday!!!”
“I am so pleased with the Lieto. The first thing that's noticeable is the beautiful design and sturdy build. The espresso is excellent with a wonderful layer of crema. Coffee is equally delicious, an the operation of the machine is so quiet! It's even customizable to water amounts. One thing that's nice is that the water tank is large enough, something that was not the case in some others I looked at. Exceptional value.”
