“I am sorry to say that I was incredibly disappointed with this afternoon tea gift box. The gift itself was immaculately presented - stunning actually - but the products were not great. The scones were incredibly dry, same as the chocolate fondants and mini loaves, didn’t taste fresh. They were genuinely very dry which surprised me. Tea was delicious, a great brew. The jam was delicious, clotted cream was a good brand. It was actually the bakes that were not good at all. I have had the brownies from C&S which were really lovely, but this wasn’t up to standard I am sorry to say.”
