The switches will not work as on the timer

I was genuinely excited to have these switches installed in my home, but at this point, I completely regret that decision. The switches do not function properly. They are not smooth to operate, and both the master and remote switches frequently stop working. In addition, the automatic on/off scheduling feature does not perform as advertised, which defeats a major purpose of having them installed. To rule out any issues on my end, I have had four Deako technicians and two licensed electricians come to my home on four separate occasions. All have confirmed that the wiring is not the problem. About a month ago, I contacted Deako and requested that they come remove their switches. Since then, I have only been able to reach customer support representatives, and no one has followed up with me. My repeated calls have been ignored, and I have received no resolution. This experience has been extremely disappointing and frustrating. I expected a reliable product and responsive service, and I have received neither

I'm sorry for your experience. In December, we sent the replacement switch to see if that would work in your situation. In January, call notes indicated that WiFi wasn't connected in app, so we helped get that working, which would have affected the scheduling feature. The call ended with confirmation there were no other issues. In March, we returned your call about 2.5 hours later and sent a text message beforehand. We left a message. We then got connected again with you shortly and provided updates for a return. If you need a return label resent, please let us know! Happy to do so. Please reach out if you need anything else!

Wiring is a pain with the bulky housing and have a current master smart dimmer that won’t connect with the companion side smart switch. w

I’ve had issues since installation with my lights, the dimmers specifically are delayed or unresponsive all together. I’ve complained they do write back but haven’t sent a technician out since installation.

Ordered by phone and the very helpful staff got me set up with 1 Master Dimmer and a Remote Dimmer. It took 5 minutes in total time and pairing the two was easy with a breif peak at a YouTube pairing video to be sure. And boom, we have remote dimmers in our kitchen! Thank You Deako

I called twice and someone answered and said a tech would call me back. Both times no one called me back and the switch that was sent to me is doing the same as the last one I had

Thank you for your review! Support will be reaching out to you about the replacement switch not working shortly if they haven't already. This is a strong indicator that if both switches weren't working, there may be some wiring that needs to be fixed or double check the location. I apologize you did not receive a call back. Our system shows that the number provided on the account called, our tech support answered, we did troubleshooting on Wi-Fi and the switch, then sent a replacement in the same call. Less than an hour later, notes came from the answering service that described the same issue discussed in the previous call to us, so between the short time period and resolution from the call earlier, we thought we had assisted with the inquiry and there had been a time delay. Again, extremely sorry that was your experience and this was shared with the team! Reach out for any assistance, we are here to help!

I have purchased so many Deako Switches and I am just so in love with them all. The Maater switch must be used with a remote switch in order to control a height that has at least 2 ways to control it. I used this switch on my staircase as I have a switch upstairs and a switch downstairs. It is amazing controlling the lights from different levels of the house and even from the app. I will continue to purchase more products over time.
