Couldn't be more disappointed. After spending $800+ to add dimmers and some smart switches, the switches arrived mostly damaged. I have one switch out of 8 that works properly (two I have not tried yet). One of my dimmers turns on and off randomly -- even in the middle of the night. The others are uninstalled. At this point I would warn anyone thinking about using these switches to look elsewhere.

I love these switches! Control from the phone from anywhere in the world with wifi or my ADT panel at home. And being able to dim too! Love them. Heads up! Make sure the backplate is wired correctly. Make sure the grounding wire is properly installed. I had an issue during installation but the tech support pointed out to me that it was a grounding wire issue. After that was corrected, they worked like a champ. Love them!

I installed a set of smart dimmers and we absolutely love it. Now we can regulate our LED's so they're not blinding and we can use them as night lights if we have company.

I agree, it's hard to imagine your lights without a dimmer once it's installed. It certainly is a game-changer! In case you didn't know, your electricity consumption is correlated with how much you dim your lights, so when you're using your Smart Dimmer to provide night lights for your guests, you won't have to worry about your energy bill. Unfortunately the dimmers don't work in my home. It has yet to be determined why but it could be that the backplates aren't wired correctly. The company that wired the house is going try to troubleshoot the problem. However, I also purchased a motion sensor for the master bathroom and we love it so we want to purchase another one for the master closet.

Hi Blake, thank you for taking the time to review Deako. I am sorry to hear that the dimmers you ordered aren't working in your home. It sounds like a wiring issue, but we will make sure you have all of the info, and help, you need to get it worked out. If you haven't contacted customer support, I would recommend giving them a call. I will add their number below. Once you provide them with some more details about your situation, they will be able to advise you on what you can do to resolve the problem, and also what you should tell your electrician. I am happy to hear that you are enjoying your Deako Motion Sensor in your master bedroom-and YES, the closet is a very useful spot to add a motion sensor as well. Remembering to turn your closet lights on is never a problem, but it's easy to forget to turn them off. Not to mention, you get the added benefit of having your lights go on automatically, which is always appreciated. It's the little things in life that make such a difference. Awesome and easy to set up! Looks great on the wall plus the integration with Alarm.com & Alexa was simple. Love what Deako brings to the home.
