“I was sold on Deako before my products ever showed up. I retrod the install myself, and have replaced MOST of my "dummy" switches with some sort of deako smart switch. It has been a blast setting it up, assigning the rooms, linking the multiways, etc. And now, when I tell alexa "Alexa, I'm going to bed" every light in the house turns off. Or, "alexa something is outside" turns every exterior light on. Great product! Couldn't be happier!”
“Had to wait for our switch to get fixed before I could get them working. I just got them in yesterday. Now that the switch is fixed (needed the neutral wire) they were very easy to plug in and pair to my phone and my husbands phone. So far the lights have worked awesomely! They go as bright as they were before I put them in, which is what I want for cooking. And they dim really, low so no one gets blinded in the morning while making coffee. They were quite expensive but, I think they will be worth it as long as they last.”
“Control of your lighting with voice commands or an app is so rewarding. I never have to push a button, ever again. Your hands are full. Just use integration with Alexa to turn off the light by voice on your way out. I would recommend anyone that was afraid of electricity to invest and start enjoying everything about it!”
“Couldn't be more disappointed. After spending $800+ to add dimmers and some smart switches, the switches arrived mostly damaged. I have one switch out of 8 that works properly (two I have not tried yet). One of my dimmers turns on and off randomly -- even in the middle of the night. The others are uninstalled. At this point I would warn anyone thinking about using these switches to look elsewhere.”
“I love these switches! Control from the phone from anywhere in the world with wifi or my ADT panel at home. And being able to dim too! Love them. Heads up! Make sure the backplate is wired correctly. Make sure the grounding wire is properly installed. I had an issue during installation but the tech support pointed out to me that it was a grounding wire issue. After that was corrected, they worked like a champ. Love them!”
