“Really happy with my new gen 2 Smart Switch! Had some hiccups with the app at first, but it seems like they've been consistently rolling out new updates to improve it. It's working much more smoothly now for scheduling and remote control. Also love the neat addition of the light bar at the bottom of the switch.”

The switches I have are always hot, But DEAKO hasn't solved end the problem or has given me a plausible explanation.”
Thank you for reaching out and letting us know. It is completely normal for the Smart Switch to be warm to the touch. It should not be so hot that it hurts to press. All switches meet strict safety standards and is due to the internal chipsets.
“It was easy to activate it on the app, but there are glitches using it. Sometimes it doesn’t register at all. I’m tapping the button to turn it off and on multiple times and it’s not connecting. And I have to try for several minutes and close and reopen the app. Sometimes it says it’s on when it’s off and vice versa. I don’t have all these problems with my gen 1”
“Switch works as intended, definitely like the night light ability, I wish the old ones could do it too. Would be cool if the light could be customized to shift colors like a gradient fashion. Also wish I could group switches together that are not on the same circuit so whether by app or physical switch touch it will turn certain lights on or off.”

The new switch works well with the new Deako app. I'm also a big fan of the new beacon light - I like how it can be programmed to light up at night, so I can easily find my switch in the dark and no longer have to stumble around!”
