“Like all other comments stated, the holder is very cute.
But..... changing the paper towel roll is not easy, even frustrating at times when you are in a hurry cooking. I’ve had this for a year and still using it. There are many times I just want to go back to the old fashion pole that I can just drop the roll on.
I don’t because it is darling in my kitchen.
Maybe their next version they could figure out a more user friendly way to change the paper towel rolls.”
“This is a very well made, sturdy, heavy paper towel holder. It’s best to fill it with as big of a roll as possible because changing the roll is honestly not easy. The rod is a bit long so you have to sort of continue to wiggle it out of the two ends. It will take several minutes to do that. After you get the rod out, put the paper towels on and then try to line the rod back up with holes that are now more difficult to see. Put the wing nuts on each side to hold the rod securely in place and you’re done. Before putting the rod in, and possibly having to start over, be sure that you have the roll going the correct way (over/under) for the cast iron arm to tear the paper towel the way it was intended for. Overall, very happy with this item. I do admit to “not noticing” that the roll needs to be changed so my husband will do it.”
