“Game changer for camping. I’ve been holding off for a few years on purchasing one but after my last trip with a friend that was using it, it made it so easy to operate at our campsite with preparing our meal, cleanup and then being able to see where you were going without having to have a small light source on your head.”
“Although we have not used these lights for any duration, I was most impressed with the quality of materials. I think a set of guy lines and stakes would work in windy situations, or simply a plate to allow lines be attached. It’s suimply an idea, no complaints at this point.
Lastly, even though a cost would incur, a Bluetooth connection would be useful in many situations. Used for disaster management situations.
Great product.”
“Wonderful product! Exactly what I was wanting. A solid “area lightâ€â€¦â€¦ does a perfect job of doing just that! No speakers or anything to make it more complicated then needed! Some people say the tripod is lacking, I say it’s just right! Very well thought through! I’ll echo someone else’s “version 2.0†with bluetooth controls would be cool but not needed. Great job guys!”
“Very good product, in design concept, construction and functionality. The biggest con, or suggested improvement, would be the ability to control via Bluetooth/phone. It would be great to be sitting in your camp chair and dim when “neededâ€, or just before turning in, crank it up for camp clean up. Probably not just a “firmware†update at this stage, but have to purchase a new light unit.(?)”
“Excellent light. The tripod/pole could use some improvement. For example, when arrived, the plastic in the tripod feet kept falling out. Also, the tripod legs sometimes jam when going up and down.”
“The light is very bright and effective as an area light. Appreciate the simplicity of operation (switching between 90-360 degree lighting, and checking battery level). The tripod came missing one foot, couldn't find it in box or anywhere nearby where opened, and they are flush end caps, not the rounded end caps as in the product photo. Tripod collar quality concerns me on longevity, and overall stablity given the snap button insert is a bit loose.”
