“This is my initial review, only tested it a few times. The light is very bright, I have tested it outdoors as well as indoor. Is does get warm on the highest settings. Ran it for an hour. Plan on using this for Fish Fry Fridays for church, we fry the fish outdoors.
I did have some damage in the tripod and the pole. Reached out to support and got a prompt response. A replacement was sent immediately. There was constant communications, responses were quick.
I had some complaints from the FedEx tracking. My order was sent via FedEx, this has nothing to do with the company but FedEx took forever to update tracking information. I only got an update the day of delivery, on the 7th day. With all these new of porch pirates stealing packages, I just want to make sure when the package is arriving so I could keep an eye on it. Anyway, I made a comment on that issue with my email communications. They sent the replacement parts via UPS instead of FedEx. I was genuinely surprise they listened.
I wish all companies have customer service as good as Devos. Thank you and I will be forever be a loyal customer. I would be you best sales person, I'll be talking about the product and great service.”
“My light exposed to a brief sprinkle and moisture was able to get inside creating intermittent power surges. This was a very light sprinkle otherwise I would have put it away but we needed the light and finishing up a job. Would this be covered under warranty?”
“For such an expensive light, I wish it was easier to use the option for staking. The base of the stand when you try to use the stake that it comes with instead of the 3 legs, is hard to push and it doesn’t go in all the way. The first time I tried to push the shiny fastener that clicks, it doesn’t even click and I had to fish it with a fork. Maybe I got a bad batch but for the amount I paid, I expected a more refined product and not something under engineered. I also wish there was an extra battery just in case I needed to use the light on high for more than 4 hours. Thank you for listening to my TED talk.”
