Jun 5 - 12, 2026 | On our Narwhal and Polar Bear tour, we travel from Pond Inlet, Baffin Island to the floe edge where we will have close encounters with Narwhal and opportunities to see polar bear and other northern wildlife. This is a unique opportunity to camp near the floe edge and includes cultural experiences as we travel with our local Inuit guides.

This was definitely an adventure with lots of wildlife. Our leader Steve did a great job. My only disappointment was not seeing a Narwhal with a tusk. But at least we saw them.

Overall it was a great experience, specially for me that I am not used to snow and ice... Steve the guide gave the best of him. We had a great guide. The local personnel of the organization had always a smile with them for us, but needs a bit of training to be better prepared to assist the tour participants. Consider: Bring a real cook; plan a menu for the meals for the whole tour. As it is a tour where we know wildlife will not be close, consider bringing a drone to record the tour. I can mention that one out our tour participants had a drone and made incredible footage of a group of whales feeding. We could see the whales from the flow edge, but from above was an unbelievable what we saw. The same happened with the first polar bear, it was 2.5 km away. Having that footage will complement the experience and will constitute a beautiful souvenir. Small things like a container of hot water always available for coffee or tea; better toilet tent and accessories; better furniture like chairs and table, tablecloth, cups, glasses...I am not meaning new or classy, but standard... Cheers,

Unique location, unique wildlife, local inuit camp. Patience is a key word here and also adventure due to unforeseen storms. But this is all worthy to really experience what the arctics are like! And getting to see a pod of narwhals so close by is magical.

This was a great trip. Both the Narwhals and Polar Bears and the Walruses and Bowhead parts more than met expectation and I would certainly recommend them to anyone. Well worth doing one after the other. Amazing animals, amazing birds and amazing scenery. Nadine

This was a well run tour in a spectacular, remote location. We were able to see a very wide variety of wildlife. The staff was great, working very hard to provide a good experience. The food was good to excellent (fresh arctic char on our last night on the ice).

This tour is a fabulous adventure in the land of the tundra on ice. The mountainous scenery is magnificent, the opportunity to see pelagic birds and wildlife just wonderful, and the care of Inuit staff and Eagle-Eye Tour guide is outstanding.
