Teriffic trip. I have been a ships doctor in these waters 1991 and this was a great journey back in time. As well as an fantastic experience with the inuit hunters, the narwhals, polarbears, the white gyr falcons, the landscape and the marvellous camping. Lev Fried was also a very good professional. Have concidered to do it again! One of my best trips ever....

Experiencing wildlife in its natural habitat can be euphoric and makes you appreciate your place in our world. This adventure gives all that but I also got to talk with a native older man who was born in an igloo and experience a taste of his culture. It is also a chance to experience some harsh weather and, to get the most out of it, you need to pitch in and help with camp setup and to look out for each other. This isn't a prissy, fancy hotel affair.

One of the best trips we've ever been on. Cam was absolutely fabulous - very knowledgeable and personable. The support team that he utilized was very professional and worked hard to meet everyone's needs despite the challenging terrain and isolated locale. The wildlife was simply spectacular. Though we only saw narwhals one day when the seas were choppy which made it a bit hard to see, the polar bears, bowheads, seals and the seemingly endless species of birds more than made up for it. It far surpassed our expectations.

Being at a location that is difficult to reach, and therefore unique. Stuff you only see in the best nature documentaries. Travelling and camping on the frozen sea is spectacular. Spending time with local people, the landscapes and wildlfie are all priceless. Despite the chalnes of getting to Baffin Island, the whole trip was very well organized. Being in a small group also made it really pleasant. I would definitely recoommend this trip to everybody whole loves snow, ice, solitude, arctic wildlife and the stries of the early arctic explorers.

We had fantastic success finding narwhals! We learned to listen for them which made it much easier to find them. Our group saw a number of polar bears, many seals, a variety of birds and the odd fox. We visited some Thule sod huts on Bylot Island, some of which incorporated bowhead whale bones into their walls. We were lucky to visit the bird cliffs at Cape Graham Moore which were amazing. Our meals were generally excellent considering where we were dining! Although not offered for our group, the cultural evening with the Inuit was a wonderful experience and should be a part of any visit to Pond Inlet. Overall, this trip was a terrific experience.

A great, great tour, cannot recommend highly enough. Flawless organization, superb guiding, extraordinary scenery, fantastic encounters with wildlife - from Polar Bear to lemmings, and of course the Narwhals. Wonderful experience camping on the ice, excellent photography opportunities, beautiful, low key interaction with Inuit culture. Go!

I shared the trip with my two adult children and the experience created some of the most thrilling memories of our lifetimes. The blue landscape, the bizarre birds and mammals, the fluid organization of the tour leader and the charm of the local guides combined to create an authentic adventure. It is true that one must sacrifice some comforts to fully appreciate the trip, but what is an arctic adventure without fully, in a tourist sense, immersing oneself in the local environment and culture?

Fantastic tour - as highlight of my life, and I’ve been everywhere (well almost). And we were lucky to have Cam be our tour guide - well informed, friendly and courteous. The weather was perfect for late May, mostly sunny at the edge and a temperature of about 0C. Our tents were comfortable and cozy, the food (including lunches) was hearty and delicious, and the narwhal, polar bears and birds were sensational. I highly recommend this tour.
