“I have been a respiratory therapist for almost 30 years. I am also hearing impaired & have worn hearing aids since my early 20's. Over my career, I've used many versions of electronic stethoscopes, & this is BY FAR, the BEST I've ever tried!!! The sound quality is very clear & louder than any other versions I've used. I like the manual "on/off switch" that has a light that blinks when you turn it on. If you forget to turn it off, it automatically turns itself off to conserve the battery. Between rounds, I plug the stethoscope into a USB port (usually at a computer where I'm doing my charting) & it charges pretty quickly. I don't use the Eko app to record breath sounds, since I don't need to. One thing I wish this stethoscope COULD do would be to electronically connect to my hearing aids via Bluetooth (like with earbuds). That way, I would not need to use the earpieces for quicker patient examination.”

“It’s awesome for people like me that are hard of hearing. I hope you can invent a listening device that can be used in tandem with a hearing aid. Unfortunately, I missed the offer for a free case. I didn’t see it.”

“My hearing is not what it used to be, but with my new Littmann CORE Digital Stethoscope, I feel like I’ve been given a new set of ears! Heart sounds, lung sounds, and bowel sounds are now crystal clear. Furthermore, the noise canceling feature makes a world of difference! This was an excellent investment!!!”

“I love almost everything about this! The core has mad things so much easier for me. I love the color. But. I really dislike how inflexible the pieces are to the ear. We’re all anatomically unique and I find sometimes with other brands I can customize the fit and comfort a bit better which also helps the sound.”

“I absolutely love this stethoscope! I am an older nurse and couldn't hear as well as I used to with my stethoscope. A nurse friend let me listen with the littmann core and I was sold. I bought one the next day. I can hear heart, lung and bowel sounds much better than I did as a young nurse. It has a volume control and a great app that will record 15 seconds of heart sounds. It is expensive, but it is worth every penny.”
