“After just one year of use, the electronic components in my Core 500 completely gave out. It will no longer hold a charge or turn on, rendering it completely useless. Because this is a purely digital stethoscope with no acoustic backup, a dead battery or fried circuit means you cannot hear anything at all. Having a critical piece of diagnostic equipment fail right after the one-year warranty period is completely unacceptable. The technology is cool when it works, but the internal longevity simply isn't there. I had to replace the earpiece because it broke where everyone is complaining and cost $150 Save your money. This company offers no customer support and doesn't reply to their emails. I am out over $600 and nothing to show for it.”

“I received this from my wife for a Christmas present. I've been a practicing ER physician for >20 years and appreciate the finer feature of this including the ability to control the volume, automatic equalizer for lung/heart auscultation. My only reservation at this time is that with nothing other than normal clinical use (12 nine hour shifts monthly) the silicone tubing at the point of insertion into the "chest piece" fully splint at the eight month point rending it useless. The company/customer service was GREAT, however. Within 5 days I had a replacement part on my doorstep at no charge whatsoever. I just wonder if this was a singular faulty device or if this is destined to happen in another year or so.”

“I purchased an Eko Core 500 stethoscope in March of this year and have been using it in a clinical setting. After only a month of normal use, the right earpiece stopped working. I’ve reached out to the company for support and have received no response. For a product at this price point, both the durability and customer service have been disappointing. As a healthcare provider, I rely on my equipment daily, and this experience has been frustrating. I would not recommend this product based on early failure and lack of support.”

“I ordered an Eko 500 two weeks ago paid for expedited shipping still have not received it and cannot get in touch with no one from the company. Calls goes straight to voicemail and never get a real response through email just automated messages. I don’t know if this is a scam or what”

“Pricing was not a concern, my concern is that I ordered the product and paid for the "1 business day overnight" and I get no tracking number and no clarification on the est. shipping day, when I tried to speak with customer service they informed me that after placing the order for "OVERNIGHT" I have to wait 1-3 business days then however long it takes to arrive at the house. Mark is absolutely useless to chat with it. Do not buy unless you want to wait ages.”

“Do not buy from these scammers. I bought a sthetiscope on 11/18/25 for $449 which was deducted from my credit card with tax of 26.25 and city tax $10.31. I got notification that they just canceled the order without any explanation. They turned around and stated that they initiated a refund of $369? Who will pay the balance for your mistake. They are scammers, please do not buy from them. I am notifying the relevant authorities asap”

“I have still not received my order. The courier claimed the address was incorrect, which is simply untrue. The item was never delivered. I have repeatedly tried to contact Eko Health, but every attempt leads to the same automated reply promising a response within 24 hours. No one ever follows up. I cannot comment on the quality of the stethoscope because it never arrived, but the customer service has been extremely poor. I would not order directly from them again. With no response from the company, I am now left to pursue a refund through my credit card provider. It is astonishing that a healthcare-focused business operates like this.”

“Purchased Eko Core 500 less than 2 years ago, no drops or damage top button ceased to work. Contacted Eko support - advised to contact FIGS. FIGS not helping stating that it provides support for 6 months. Not happy as neither wanting to know about it.”

“Shocking service - Purchased annual EKO+ membership through their website. Advertised as $119.99 annually. They charged me $154.98. When I questioned this I was told my membership was cancelled as I should have purchased through the App as I am UK based. Price through the App is £199.99 ! All this after being told but their customer services team it was fine to purchase the membership online.”

“EKO+ subscription is a scam. I bought the stethoscope because of ecg sharing possibility and other features in the app. A month after the purchase they removed these features from the free app and introduced EKO+ and want 10$/month for features I already paid for.”

“I ordered the eko health- 2 weeks later the chest piece volume button stopped working. No prob- got a new one for free. 1 week later the top button stopped working. Big issue for me as I found this out in the middle of clinic.”

“I bought this scope for its app functionality. But it was not as advertised. I am in Canada and do not have access to any of the features that I bought this for. This should be made clear to customers outside the US”

“I got my stethoscope; it's working. But when I opened the box and checked the device closely, I could say this product was not new! There are scratches on the diaphragm and stains on the light, also as small scratches on the body. It's working, no problem, but I purchased this device as a new one and for personal use only. I don't want to think how many people touched the device; that's gross. I know you offer easy return, but when somebody returns a device, please don't send them to someone else as a brand-new device because it's not. Please check the pictures. It's working, but I don't want to touch it.”
