“I’m a PhD student studying exercise physiology with training in clinical exercise physiology. My expertise mostly revolves around cardiac stress testing and EKG interpretation. I do a lot of graded exercise testing (GXT) as part of the courses that I teach and one of the research studies I’m part of. So, I figured it was time for an update from my old cheap stethoscope. Doing manual BPs during GXTs is challenging so, I saved up for a good stethoscope as a gift to myself. The Littmann Cardiology IV is excellent as it is but, it’s a different ballgame with the EKO CORE… I’ve never heard Korotkoff sounds so clearly before during a GXT — which is notoriously difficult due to the sound of the treadmill and all of the sound created by movement of the participant(s). I am highly impressed by this product and am certainly a proud supporter from here on out!”

“This has been a game changer working as a paramedic in an ambulance. It is often noisy and sometimes chaotic on scenes, and this devise makes it so much easier to listen to lung/heart sounds. Makes me more confident in my medicine.”

“I love how you can easily toggle back and forth between analog and digital sounds! I often use it when auscultating to compare. It amplifies sounds by A LOT and cancels outside noises making it very easy for me to hear heart and lung sounds. It’s a huge upgrade from my nursing school stethoscope! The app is also cool if you want to record sounds and lets you control whether you want to hear lungs or heart sounds better. Works great and you can really tell the difference. I was a little worried about the weight but the top part of the stethoscope is very light and it balances the bottom weight. Also need to mention that the customer service is fantastic. I bought mine 1-2 weeks ahead of a free case offer. And I wasn’t expecting them to entertain my request, but they sent me one and I couldn’t be happier!”
