“The ear tips that came with my stethoscope, initially, came off of the stethoscope too easily, and in less than a month, I had lost one of them, while working. These are much harder to dislodge, so I will be much less concerned about the stethoscope becoming unusable during a shift. They are a great improvement! Probably should consider including these with the stethoscope, rather than the type that came with the new device.”

“I got a replacement because the battery didn’t want to stay charged. After having the replacement I realize that the on off button on the old one tended to stay in the middle of half off and half off which I would not assume caused 99 percent of the issues with the battery. I can take the recording and upload it with my PCRs on Fisdap as well. It is a valuable tool and I can share my recordings with my classmates to help our learning experience as we become paramedics”

“Unfortunately I have not had a good experience. The first digital CORE worked for two weeks then wouldn't recharge. Fortunately, EKO replaced it but the second one has never worked. Now the plastic piece has broken with limited use. For the short period that it worked, the stethoscope did show great acoustics which is was disappointing that will not work for me.”

“It is best for heart sounds. There cannot be contact with clothing and if people talk while I’m listening it can hurt my ears. New ACLS guidelines say to treat for pneumonia if you hear crackles, which can be hard to hear. That is why I got this device.”
