“This is the best stethoscope I have owned to date bought my first Eko about 6 years ago and have never looked back. The battery life is good and I don’t have to worry about not hearing heart tones.”

“This is way better than I could have ever expected. The sound quality is amazing. I work in an insanely busy, and therefore very loud ER. I love that I can actually hear everything so clearly. I was skeptical about the different frequencies, however between cardiac and pulmonary, it makes a HUGE difference. I love this stethoscope. I don't use the 3 lead function since we do the 12 leads in the ER. I like the BPM reading for when a pt is borderline tachy/normal. It helps verify the rate I'm counting.”

“I do love the stethoscope. It’s helpful in Urgent Care. I can turn it up and it’s pretty clear. It would be better on the skin, but it’s very helpful to listen through coats and jackets during COVID/Flu season. It charges pretty quickly too. I will say I’m disappointed that the layer of sapphire blue has already scratched off within 1 1/2 months. It barely rubs together in my pocket and I didn’t realize I paid that much more for a coating of color. Also the ear pieces pop off very easily, so be careful in the ER/Urgent Care or any fast paced environment. I’ve already lost one. I don’t use the EKG setting very often, but it is pretty cool. I just can’t use it as a diagnostic finding. Overall it was a good purchase, but a little pricey for not being “excellent” if that makes sense.”

“The hearing ability is clear and spot on. Being a hospice it’s important to get a fast clear reading. It’s slow with a reading on a dying patient and typically gives no result for a flatline.”

“Once you memorize the buttons it becomes intuitive. My one issue is the part where the earpiece connects to chestpiece becomes loose when maneuvering the chestpiece. It does not come completely undone but the lines no longer sit flush, so I constantly have to rotate it, so it connects properly. I enjoy the ECG reading, particularly useful. I like that I can hear it through my phone when connected wirelessly, however it does not have the best sound. Perhaps it is my phone speaker with the issue. Over all, it does the job and I like the color and customization.”
