I absolutely love this stethoscope. I can hear EVERYTHING. No more straining to hear breath or heart sounds. I was skeptical about the "pulmonary" mode, but I'm actually obsessed - now breath sounds sound exactly like they did in the recordings I learned from in medical school. I also love how I can see a quick EKG - helps determine in a pinch if a pediatric patient is tachycardic from SVT or just from crying without having to set up an entire EKG machine. I'll only ever buy Eko!

Christmas gifts for daughter and granddaugher. Waiting for them to pick them up. Daughter going to school for nursing and granddaughter is a EMT waiting to get into medical school. I love the way they look. They both notice PA and MD's using them in the hospitals. Beautiful instrument.

I would like to start by stating even with the best colors and set up, this thing is ugly. Like, simultaneously sci-fi cool and ugly. It is also not going to be a go to for listening to subtle murmurs or sounds and localizing them, as the audio filter and chest piece size make that difficult. That being said, this stethoscope is fantastic for using in an ambulance or noisy environment, as it does a much better job of filtering out unnecessary noise, and it also provides feedback for heart rate and even an artifact ridden ECG (seriously, not a huge point there except for specific circumstances, but cool I guess). It is also portable and the sound profile can be adjusted, which makes it versatile and great for everything from teaching, to quick assessments. Overall, despite how it sounds from my first paragraph, it's a great stethoscope, decent workhorse, and very versatile. I even think it's worth the price as long as you're not intending to use it for high fidelity ECG or for murmur grading and localization. I think it actually fits best in emergency medicine rather than primary care, as it's one of the few stethoscopes that doesn't become useless in noisy environments or even a helicopter, and the immediate rate feedback is amazing, especially during a code or resuscitation.

Stethoscope has a great battery life and I was very impressed! There were only two things I found that I did not like. The first of the tubing is not very long so when you are taking vitals, you have to be very close to them to be able to use the earpieces. Secondly, the app does cost about $120 a year if you want all the features. I feel like for the price of the stethoscope, the app should at least be included.

I am deaf in my right ear and I was looking for a new stethoscope.. the one I had for 10 years had died and was no longer able to be replaced. So I researched and felt this stethoscope fit my needs. It is beautiful, very sturdy and clearly well designed. With that being said it is made for specialized use not everyday nursing. I have a hard time with manual blood pressures and if the background isn’t silent I have a hard time hearing heart and lung sounds.. it is good enough and I can always ask for back up if needed, but the sound quality wasn’t quite what I anticipated for the price.
