It's better than previous versions of eko but still comes with a lot of noise particularly when listening to breath sounds. Heart sounds do sound great though. Can definitely heart murmurs better, S3 sounds. They can be correlated with the ecg if you get a good tracing so that's nice. It's not as heavy as I thought which is nice. The bell is a bit bulky because of the ecg leads so when listening to thinner patients the contact with the skin can be suboptimal. Battery life seems good. It was disappointing that without battery or when off you can't here. I guess that's expected from a purely digital stethoscope. So far it's been a great experience. Better than littman with the eko attachment. Is it that much better than a regular cardiology master stethoscope? Not sure about that yet.

I am still learning all the features of this stethoscope but so far it has been amazing. I love seeing the heart rate and the ECG tracing right there.

I used the original EKO, and recently upgraded to this one. The versatility in modes is wonderful, and the digital readout is extremely helpful. I do wish it had a separate on/off switch, as I sometimes have to cycle through the modes to get back to where I was when "waking" the bell. The ear pieces feel a little lighter than the ones I had on my littman, and cause the stethoscope to be off balance on my neck when going between patients.

This is the best stethoscope I've ever used and I own the regular Eko Stethoscope and Littmann Stethoscope with volume. You can do so much with this. Pulmonary, cardiac and all sitting. EKG and pulse right in front of you. Can download EKG readings to phone. Long battery life

Sound quality is astounding! A little cumbersome to turn off. Better if a double click or the like on the power button rather than having to push two buttons simultaneously and then confirm with another click. Otherwise excellent interface. The size is a bit too large but that may be a requirement of spacing the electrodes or limits on how small it can be with all the hardware inside. That will improve with future editions I'm sure. The Thinklab had the best acoustics, this is now equal or better. One last thing, it would be nice if it would heat up so I could dip it into water to make hot tea since these devices are becoming multifunctional. :-)
