“I had my eye on the CORE 500 for several months, wondering if it would be worth the money as a veterinarian. When my beloved 12 year old stethoscope finally died beyond repair, I took the leap of faith and ordered it. It took me a few days to orient myself, but with each patient I got better and better. The ECG can be super helpful with some of my patients, but fur definitely gets in the way. Regardless, I have used it 3 times in 2 weeks with great success. My staff find it amazing. Day to day, I am hearing things so much clearer. I didn't realize how much I was missing. I leave exams far more confident than ever before.”

“I think it could amplify the heart sounds a bit more. The ability to filter out other noise is cool, though. I like being able to focus on heart sounds or lung sounds. I love that it gives me a heart rate while I'm listening. I rarely use the app, though. To go through the entire assessment with the app takes too long in the ED. I wish Eko would make a belt clip or holster for it. It is heave to hang around the neck, and I move all through a very large facility. I found a clip on Etsy that I am going to try. Something designed for the larger head on the EKO 500 is what I'm hoping for.”
