The stethoscope is great for listening to lungs and heart. I find it very clunky to listen to carotids. I don’t find that the EKG is very easy to use tread on a couple of patients and have yet to get a good rhythm strip.

I really like this stethocscope. It does allow me to hear better during my exams. The EKG feature is very nice. I am veterinarian and it does it have its limitaions. It does not seem to do as well on small dogs and cats. On most of my patients it does require the use of alcohol to get good contact for the ekg unless it is very short haired patient. I hope some of the software will improve to provide more application for veterinary care.

The Eko Core 500 stethoscope has completely transformed my experience in healthcare. It opened up a whole new world, allowing me to clearly hear breath sounds with incredible detail. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and immersive listening experience.

This stethoscope is absolutely beautiful. I absolutely love the fact that you can toggle between the respiratory and the cardiac mode or have a combination mode. It is amazing that it can display an ECG wave form and also to detect murmurs. Something I love about this is that you can link it to your app and listen on the app out loud in real time, so I did use this for teaching purposes to identify a heart murmur. I also think it’s great if a patient has an arrhythmia such as PVCs or PACs, you can play it on your app so they actually hear what you are talking about. I am a neonatal NP and I will say this is quite big, but it works well when I work in the newborn nursery. This would be way too large for a NICU or a premature patient. Either way I do not regret getting this and I will get lots of use out of it.
