“WARNING READ MY REVIEW First of all you need the app to set up the Core 500, now the clock on a 14 day trial begins, without your permission, because its required to set your 500 dollar stethoscope up. Next the information used to buy your stethoscope (might not even been your credit card) was saved by EKO and thats the one they are going to nail you with 13 (NOT 14) days later. Illegal business practices. This company using AI billing to collect data and buy things using your credit card without your permission. I will post photos. Im so mad I don't want this stethoscope anymore, I dont want to support this company period. Just give me a manual Littman or MDF”

Context: setting up a CORE 500 in the Eko app includes 14 days of complimentary Eko+ access. We email a reminder a couple of days before the trial converts, and the membership can be canceled anytime, the stethoscope itself keeps working without one. “It is nice to record and analyze the finding, but hounestly clinically not very useful. If it was much cheaper, worth to have it. $110 US /yr is too much for this option.”
