“There are dings in the mounting face of the portafilter, but in use, the basket is the sealing surface. The basket is 21 grams I think, in any case, larger than I would prefer. The handle screws on and seems unfinished with an opening in the end probably for a missing branding insert. Wish the wooden handle wasn't so much more money. On the plus side, it is very educational to be able to watch the espresso extraction develop over time. Net, net, better coffee so I'm happy and would recommend this for the price.”
