“This scoby delivers!! My first time to make kombucha. Delicious! Perfect fizz, just tart enough and not too sweet. Took about 18 days. I cut my scoby in half and shared with a friend. My second gallon is even better in only 12 days. I took someone's advice and store it in the vacant cabinet above my refrigerator.”
“Great simple setup. Buy the bag, read the instructions (make sure to get the items listed! on the back... I did not at first and delayed my brew) than you are off.Easy Peasey, makes Kombucha a breeze...y.”
“It has been wonderful. This was so wonderful, I ordered a second one to send to my daughter. The instructions were so easy and it tastes amazing. thanks.”
“Success. Update: have made 4 one gallon batches. Now have lots of scobies in my hotel jar. After 10 days have been filling glass 12 oz bottles with 1/2 cup fruit juices and fresh ginger. Apple ginger and lemon ginger are most popular. Let set out 7 days and put in fridge.Fresh raspberry, blackberry, tart cherry, sweet cherry, and Mouberry have worked but have less carbonation. Some of the antioxidants may slow down the carbonation process.Good communication and customer service. I received the order on a hot day 101f and the package was left on my porch all afternoon. The package was 135f when I got home. My daughter and I tried to make a gallon of kombucha and the culture was not growing. I contacted the company and they sent a scobie to my work address. Gave it a try and had a new scobie growing and moved on to the second fermentation phase after 9 days.Good flavor. The one gallon batch made 8 16oz bottles using 4oz if fruit/juice per bottle. Used pH test strips to verify acidity level.Tried one bottle of fresh ginger and apple juice. Good carbonation and smooth flavor.Glad I purchased this was a fun science project for my kid.”
