“Just follow the directions to the letter. You wont be disappointed.. In grading for flavor and presentation I didnt give it good marks. Its not pretty and I never tasted it so I cant attest to the flavor. BUT, it makes great tasting kombucha. So tasty in fact that I cant brew it fast enough. I have saved the empty bottles from purchased kombucha and refill them with my own. My favorites so far is adding a pinch of cayenne pepper and juice from a half a lemon and a half a lime. Another is cayenne pepper and about 1/3 of a chopped pear. And one more is cayenne and raspberries. Dont use too much pepper but just enough to give it a little heat. Mmmmmm delicious. Health benefits? I have no idea if there really are any, I just love the flavor. And if you drink it often its much better to make your own. Its just as tasty as GTS. I have chlorinated water and almost killed my scoby. Now I buy good quality water and have had no problems. Be patient, mine takes longer than the directions say but it comes out great, just taste test. Have fun.”
