The bag came with a healthy scoby and enough started tea to start my first batch of kombucha. I read a lot of reviews online before buying this product and it was one of the few that seemed to come with enough starter tea to get this going which was important. This was a big benefit. I've just completed my first fermentation, and started on a second fermentation, as well as a second first fermentation batch.
