“Great scoby for starting your kombucha brewing adventures. This was a great purchase for starting my first batch of kombucha. The bag came with a healthy scoby and enough started tea to start my first batch of kombucha. I read a lot of reviews online before buying this product and it was one of the few that seemed to come with enough starter tea to get this going which was important. This was a big benefit. I've just completed my first fermentation, and started on a second fermentation, as well as a second first fermentation batch. Still using the scoby I purchased, but after my first fermentation I now also have my own health scoby as well. The instructions provided with the packaging were very helpful and easy to follow.Very pleased with this product!”
“Works great. Best part about this is the scoby is sealed In it's in bag inside the bag you see in the pictures. Makes it easy to save the outer bag to reference the instructions later and helps keep the risk of contamination down.”
“Bad Reviews On This Scoby MUST Be Faked by Competitors. I dont understand how anyone could mess this one up. Any bad reviews should be taken with a grain of salt. If you use this kombucha starter, and follow the simple directions, you will be successful. The starter is strong, foolproof, and guaranteed to brew. Even If for some reason you had an issue, their products are guaranteed, contact them.”
“Great for kombucha! Easy to follow directions! I'm about 4 batches of kombucha deep from my SCOBY and it's been going great! I highly recommend and will buy again!”
“Just perfect. Worked great, SCOBY did the job and is now brewing her second batch while the first is in the second fermentation. My apartment is a little cooler living in Michigan, but the lower temps didn't affect the brew negatively (averaging around 71 degrees inside).”
“Fantastic starter and company. The starter is working perfectly. I was worried that I had kept the kombucha at too low a temperature, but she's doing great now! Thanks to Fermentaholics for providing me with good information on how to keep her healthy as well.”
“Great product in great packaging. Last week, I purchased a culture from a different company and the package had been damaged in the mailing process.. contaminating my newly bought culture. I was afraid to purchase again online but I didnt know where else to get a culture. So, I decided to try again.. I love Fermentaholics packaging AND instructions that come with it. They really set you up for success.”
