A Great Scoby. The directions are so easy to follow. There were actually 2 scoby's in the package. They did sit on the bottom the whole time. The nicest, thickest scoby grew at the top of the tea solution within 14 days. I am an experienced Kombucha maker and this was the easiest time I have ever had.

Good. My recipe is 6 cups water, 4 tea bags and 1/2 cup brown sugar. I purchased the SCOBY and a 16oz bottle of organic Kambucha, of which 8oz was used. They both produced as hoped. The SCOBY was a little quicker in it's fermentation process. The only difference was that the SCOBY cost $13.99 and the bottle of Kambucha which I drank half of, cost $3.28. A new SCOBY is formed after every fermentation cycle.

Great SCOBY Excellent Value-Smells Wonderful Brewing! SCOBYs arrived next day with plenty of wonderful "Tea Elixir". I have been brewing since and the smell is wonderful perfectly sweet and a little sour yummy! I am very pleased with this product -I had to toss all of my SCOBY hotels in my gardens due to fruit flies while I was away :(. I had many beautiful SCOBY jars and I feel better after starting my new batch with my new friends! Thank and I highly recommend these SCOBYs.

No flavor rating isn't ready. When I had question a LIVE person answered phone! Always a star for that! Should be noted on wrapper for newbies, that the Ph lowers the reading when you add vinegar. Didn't know that. She's still brewing so that's all I know right now.
