“Worked well enough but the scoby was on the thin side. Compared to a scoby and starter from a private individual selling on Etsy (which was more expensive and took longer to arrive), the scoby from this purchase was thinner and the starter tea a bit less strong. That being said, it still brewed a great batch of kombucha that just took a day or two longer to reach my preferred point of fermentation on the initial brew cycle. I am currently working on my second batch and all is still going well.”
“Good for beginners. Having tried a few other brands, I can say that this is a great SCOBY. I have a continuous brew that's been going on for about 2 years and it started with this SCOBY. While the first few brews were too bland for my taste, over time it became better. Trying different water and tea varieties and fermentation times helped me achieve great taste.My only recommendation to the manufacturers is to increase the amount of SCOBY in the package. And if possible, send a more mature and sour SCOBY.”
“Super easy.. I have nothing bad to say about this product, its convenient to buy when I want and sit until I want to make it and the directions are super easy. Its not the thickest but the last time I ordered I actually got two so I have no complaints.”
