“Scoby was and still is great.. I was happy with it. I enjoyed making my kombucha. Directions on the package are clear and really help. Order the stick-on thermometer for the outside of your kombucha crock. The Kombucha book is very helpful.I did have to return one Scoby because the package came damaged and partially open. But they were quick with the replacement and offered me the option of a refund.”

“10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Fermentaholics makes beginner Kombucha making absolutely foot proof. The shipping was fast and the product arrived well packed. My mother was young, healthy and thick enough to not leave me worrying if she would die with the smallest change in environment. The pack also includes a generous 12 ounces of starter brew. I know that many buch makers will tell you to have 2 cups of starter fluid per gallon but I went with the 12 and did not choose to supplement with an additional 4 ounces of the store bought stuff. With this being my first batch, I am being patient and giving my SCOBY time to form and get healthy. This brand came highly recommended by a website called You Brew Kombucha where she provided excellent information from the very beginning of the process, through to bottling and second fermentation. I know that I made the right choice and if I find myself in need of another mother or if someone asks where they should go for one, I will send them to Fermentaholics.”
