“Definitely a learning curve. If you’re not accustomed to this kind of floor, you can get sucked into buying bad tools and damaging the floor. The tapping bar that comes with the little kit they have at Lowe’s and Home Depot is a piece of terrible junk. And it will damage your floor. And when you damage the edge of a plank, that’s it. But get the right tools and when it works well, it works very well. If you keep your linear alignment true then the floor goes in really easily. However, if you get off by even like a 64th, it will start fighting you and the misalignment will magnify until it is almost impossible to get the flooring to click together. And by then you can have gone a couple of courses and it’s highly annoying to have to take it back apart. But that’s what you will have to do because you cannot force it. So careful with your measurements and your alignment needs to be perfect every time.”

How would you rate the quality of this product? Top-notch

“After putting down over 1000 SQ feet of floor, I could not be more pleased. We have a great very large dog and live in the country, so I put in a lot of research before selecting Flooret. The first phase of our project has been installed for a couple of years and has no scratches anywhere. This floor is as durable as you will find anywhere! I will be buying more flooring from Flooret in the future.”

“I love our Brenwick floors. The quality is superb. The floor is super easy to clean, but needs to be cleaned often due to our dogs' hair being very visible. From being on the Facebook Flooring discussion group, I anticipated that any problems would be from the installer, and I was right. I supervised them closely to avoid pattern repeats. I still ended up with some repeats, and they scratched the floor during install. I don't know if it was carelessness, or if they did it deliberately because they didn't like my supervision. I would recommend the floor 100%, especially for homeowners with dogs. We like the texture of the floor. It feels great underfoot and the dogs don't slip on it. I would not recommend the installer.”
