“Scooter is fantastic. I have the Varla pegasus with similar specs and it's great but I fell in love with this apollo explore more. Very powerful for how light it is. And the size is seemingly compact, easy to carry and put in trunk for how much power this offers. Much lighter and easier to maneuver than the pegasus. Very agile. Pegasus seems more solid on the suspension though. Not sure how tough the Apollo is, we'll see but so far so great even jumped it off a couple of curbs. Only thing I don't like is how fat the center of the handle bars is and the screw area of the folding handle bars. The part where you screw it into to keep the handle bars in place while in use seems cheap. Seems like it's just plastic material.”
“My first ride after 2 miles tires tube was damage. Not road damage or my fault. Look's like manufacturing defect. After 50 miles
Scooter make a lot a noise, creaking. I paid $1200 for Apollo scooter and I'm sure for this price quality should be much better.”
“Quick shipping excellent customer service snd the apollo explore is awesome as well. I've only put 35 miles on the scooter and I'm happy with the performance, only issue for me is acceleration. All in all great scooter and fluid free ride shipped quick and great customer service.”
“I purchased this scooter from Fluid Freeride as an upgrade from my Horizon, as it had problems- but they let me use the value of the Horizon to upgrade to the Explore and I could not be happier. The only problem with this scooter is the weight, as I have to carry it up stairs, but Fluid does also offer the Mosquito as a good alternative. I love the speed and comfort of the Explore however and will not be switching to any other scooter unless it's necessary. The scoot is incredible and smooth as hell on the roads, even over potholes and bad conditions, and can definitely be taken in light off-road conditions. It's a great purchase for commuters to a college campus like me and probably anyone else. The scooter is a bit old at this time, so I think would like to see a price drop, but it's a great option to have in their lineup. All of my dealings with Fluid Freeride have been quick, fantastic, and helpful. Should I ever feel the need to buy a new scooter, it will be from Fluid Freeride.”
“Simply put. I bought the Apollo Explore from FFR online. Came to the house in one piece. Easy to assemble. The few times I rode it around the neighborhood was a blast. Then I took it to work. A 1.5 mi commute with one long 7¬∞ incline. I'm 235lbs. On a flat surface I'm seeing 27mph. No complaints. Up the hill, it made it on its own but at 5-8mph. Just tells me I could lose 10-20lbs to help the problem. Now for the bigger issue. On my second day I hit a small manhole. For a car no big deal. For the scooter tire, it would appear that the rear tires inner tube was ruptured. So my fun came to an abrupt stop as I wait for a new tube. Outside of that I look forward to putting more miles on this thing. I would like to call and speak with a human on the matter of tires but they REALLY want you to not do that. The company would much rather you watch "how-2" vids on their website.”
