I really wanted to love this scooter. It looks cool, it rides great and it is fast. However I have been having issues with it since day one and customer service has tried to help but with not a lot of luck (btw, customer service is A++ i n friendliness and speed). 1. Brakes make a lot of noise (squeaking and friction) since day 1. I cleaned them with alcohol as instructed and still there 2. When I go down or up the curb or hit a bump/pothole, the front wheel makes a scary metallic sound. I believe its the brake disc hitting something but I have not been able to locate what is going on. I don't feel safe riding it with that noise and I am afraid I might damage the brakes 3. At 50% battery the scooter suddenly lost 30% of its power for the remaining of the charge. This has only happened once but I wonder if this is a real issue that will happen again or not. Also range announced is NOT even close to the 34 miles advertised...more like 20 miles 4. It is very heavy. I guess that is the price you have to pay for speed and stability...but it is definetely not very portable

Hi Carlos, we are sorry to hear that your scooter is not performing as it should. I just checked our communication. We last referred you to one of our service partners in your area. It seems like they were not able to solve the issue, so I will have our support team reach out to you again. I am convinced they will find a solution. BR

Ever since I rented a Bird scooter I was hooked on riding scooters as a way to get around town. During the pandemic, I purchased a Segway and had fun with that, but the speed was always a limitation. I was looking to upgrade. I did a lot of research and watched a lot of review videos and made the final decision to go with my Apollo Explore. It was the best decision I made when it came to upgrading my ride. I have owned this scooter now for two weeks and it has exceeded my every expectation. The build quality is top-notch. It feels solid and I don't have to worry about it. The speed is perfect plus it has plenty of get-up-and-go when you need it. I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to get used to the trigger throttle since my other scooter had a thumb throttle, but it hasn't been an issue. Now instead of driving to work I just hop on the scooter and enjoy the ride. It has been a blast and I'm loving it.

I've been riding the Apollo scooter for the last 4 weeks and it has made my commute to work a breeze. It accelerates well and the braking is very responsive. It feels sturdy, the platform for my feet is nice and wide and it handles bumpy roads well. The lighting system makes the scooter quite visible before/after sunset. So far, I'm Very satisfied with my purchase

The Explore is my second scooter I had a Boosted Rev for 18 months (Stolen) I picked up the scooter from the Miami location as I live in the area. Great experience by the way. Ok for my use case I have a 50 mile commute each way but luckily I have a train that gets me 2.5 miles from my office so orginally I thought I would just put the scooter in my car and drive the 4.5 miles from my home to the station but enjoyed scooting so much I ride it to the station so I put 14 miles a day on it. So probably more than most since January I have 800 plus miles on it. It has been 100 percent trouble free. My only complaint is the regen braking is terrible compared to the Boosted Rev. Ok i wish it was lighter but to get the performance that is the trade off but as a scooter to bring on public transport this is probably the max I would want to deal with. Glad I bought it and hope to get at least 3,000 - 4,000 miles out of before I would replace. Thumbs up.

1 month in 200 Mike's and I love it! The only reason it's 4 stars is it is not waterproof... I have taken the whole thing apart to paint it and there was many paths water could follow to get to the battery. Easy fix with some know how and a tube of silicone. There are videos on YouTube of how to do this and many other repairs. Search for Zero 10 as the explore is a direct copy of the Zero 10 with better metal in the frame. Zero also makes some accessories to check out. They make a seat, foot rest, keyed ignition and more. I'd highly recommend this scooter. It does struggle to actually hit 30 mph but it's fast enough for most. Suspension is so so, better than nothing but it can bottom out easy on rough roads.

By the title I mean I am glad I returned the scooter I bought from another company and got my Apollo Explore. I love this thing. Just the right amount of speed and range for me. I also have another scooter that is identical to the Horizon (a discontinued model from another company) and I like that too. I've had nothing but good experiences with the company. I bought my Explore in Brooklyn and really enjoyed that too.
