“It's my first electric scooter, so I've got nothing to compare it to, but it's awesome! I've had the Explorer for a few weeks and it's been great for commuting on my 11 mile round trip ride to work. I had been looking around for a scooter for a little while and didn't want to pull the trigger on anything until I stumbled upon Apollo and the amazing 24 month warranty. I love everything about the Explorer except for one little detail... the back fender, which I've had to make improvements to. The fender originally was held on by 3 little screws that would come loose after every ride and I would have to tighten them down each trip until finally 2 of the 3 screws fell out completely and are lost to the road now. Now I've glued the fender in place, replaced the old small screws with slightly bigger ones and gorilla taped it in place so now it's on there solid! To be fair though, my ride to work gets pretty bumpy at times. Thanks Apollo! Love my new ride!”
“Just got my Explore in Sept 2020!
It looks so good and is so much fun to ride! I've gotten up to 36 MPH once. But sold 25MPH is a given on most terrains. Its like having the best seat on an amusement park ride. The bag is a must have accessory. I use it to store eye cover, lock, and phone charger, and ultra compact cover for handle bar.
This scooter gets loads of complements! Solid ride! After first 100 miles issues encountered are: rear brake lever not release 100% (more adjusting i think), and rear plastic fender loosens & rattles, which will need a solution because it just gets worst as tightening screws will not fix it (still brainstorming this one).
This is such a nice product, my main recommendation is to solve the rear fender and offer part upgrade that includes angled back foot rest combined with solid rear fender design. I give it 4.8 stars out of 5. After loads of research, i think this is best in class. And the support has been very good. It goes to 5 stars after the rear fender issue is resolved.”
