This scooter really makes me feel young again. Have been scooting for 5 days straight now. Car is in the garage and me Explore been on the road groceries shopping and most of my near by errands. Its so fun riding it. Its rock steady, Suspension nice and brakes are really awesome. Battery life is more than advertise. Apollo was the right choice for me, Customer Service is fast and warranty is best. Thanks Apollo.

First of all, the delivery was super quick. I ordered the scooter from NY on Friday evening and got it on Wednesday. Pretty fast delivery considering they didn't start processing till Monday. It was raining today but I charged it up and really really wanted to test drive it out. So went out for a midnight ride around the neighborhood. I am new to electric scooters as this is my second one I got in the last couple of weeks. My first being the Unagi Model One. I wanted to get a scooter with more range since I may have to start commuting into work next year which is about 20 miles roundtrip. I don't want to be taking the subway with Covid and all. And I wanted to have better shock absorption and also for it not be too heavy to carry up the elevator to my office. Let me tell you that I only did a test ride for about 4.5 miles and this thing is beyond my expectations! It is super smooth and I don't feel any bumps like I do with the Unagi (since it doesn't have any shock absorbers except its porous wheels). It accelerates really quick and I have no trouble going up a huge hill by my house. The breaks stop quick although I did experience some strangeness which I will talk about later. It is amazing to ride though. The board is nice and wide and I can really carve with it. I was going quite fast on the side of the road actually going just as fast as the cars were. Amazing! I mostly rode in 1st and 2nd gears as that was enough for a test drive on wet pavement. It was drizzling a little when I was riding. The unfolding and folding took some time to understand and is still a bit cumbersome, but I'm learning to do it by pressing the handlebar forward a bit with my shoulder as I press down on the latch lever. So back to the issue about the breaking. When I was hitting the brakes on both the back and the front, they kind of work and then they start doing a strange jerking. At one point I was pressing them really hard and they were doing the jerking and the strange thing was when I pressed the front brake, it would jerk forward like it was somehow connected to the accelerator? Not sure what happened there. It only happened once but it wasn't too comforting. I will monitor that because that was the only issue I experienced but it was a bit scary. There weren't many cars at this time of the night but I would be terrified if that happened with lots of traffic. I don't know if riding in the light drizzle may have contributed to that or me just not pressing the brakes right? Can't wait to give another spin!!! And want to test drive it going to the city from Queens which is about 16 miles roundtrip. Highly recommended!

It lacks speed and power I believe if you would've put a 500 W motor in the back and 500 W motor in the front and add a little more power it would be a five star

Great power, plenty fast, and a very nice ride. Hit 20mph in mode 2 in the bike lane this afternoon. It put a huge smile on my face. The standing platform is nice and big and the traditional bike brakes make me feel very confident causing at high speeds. Twice they prevented what would have been a bad collision with a reckles biker. If they could make this a few pounds lighter it would be the perfect scooter.

It's fast and agile plus the brakes will stop you on a dime.

Amazing customer services. Amazing company. Amazing Apollo Explore scooter. From the ordering process that Maxwell helped me with to receiving my scooter which only took a week from Montreal to Florida. Everything went very well I am completely satisfied with my experience and would highly recommend this company. Not to mention how Amazing the scooter is. So much fun to ride. It's is by far the best scooter I have ever had.

Overall experience was enjoyable, for what little time I was able to ride until the snow fell. All around it's a solidly built scooter, has a nice smooth quiet ride. Excellerates nice enough and the lights on it are awesome. It attracts a lot of looks at night time. My only gripe is that the handle bar lock that folds down the bars tends to loosen up quite often, that could pose potential danger if forgotten to tighten regularly. The back fender has some real tiny little screws to hold it on which aren't very long, and they tend to come loose as well from choppy rides. Had to put black duct tape on mine to keep the back fender from rattleing. Lastly, my scooter advertises that its top speed is 50 kms/hr , unless mine is just a dud from the rest, it hasn't done more than 42, sometimes it'll creep to 43 but it's never reached 50. If I'd have known that, I most definitely would've gone with the Pro series. I like speed...
