“This is a must have item for your scooter! It has an on/off switch, a display showing rate of charge and voltage attained during the charge process, a cooling fan, a charge rate selector (1 thru 5), and a percentage charge stop selection knob. Used it to do the second charge on my scooter yesterday. I selected a medium charge rate 3, 100% charge, connected it to the scooter charging port and turned it on. The charger display showed the battery charge was at 46 V and it was charging at 3 amp. Over the next 5 hours I was able to monitor the charging as it approached full charge of 58.8V. As expected, at about 55V the charging rate started slowing as it approached the 58.8V full charge. When it "feathered" to the full charge of 58.8 it shut off charging and the green light came on. Watching this process makes me feel much more comfortable in safely charging these batteries! The charger that came with the scooter will become a standby for emergency use only.
