“I've now used this for two summers (I'm in a cold weather state, so scootering is limited). It works great- fast, good battery. It's heavy, but that's no secret if you look at the specs. I like that it's collapsible. Friends that also have scooters say this one is the best they've ridden. MUCH better than the rentals out there.”
“Purchased in July 2020 and only lasted me about 1 year before it started having battery or electric issues. It began giving an "error 10" or "error 6" and shutting down during rides. This happened several times on my way to or from work and after confirming that the battery was fully charged at 54 or 55V. FFR tried to help and the 50% off parts they provide if scooter is purchased through them is also helpful, but it still prohibitively expensive (comes out to more than half the cost of a new scooter to purchase a new battery, for example). It's also unclear if the battery is the problem or if it's the throttle. Additionally, replacing the battery is not an easy or straightforward process and would incur additional costs to have someone else replace it.
It's a shame because the scooter was great while it worked, but the short lifespan and reliability issues make me question the quality of FFR products overall. I would not purchase another FFR product due to this experience and would recommend the same to anyone else.”
