4.7 Rating 764 Reviews
Purchased the Fluid Horizon last month and it's great. I used it at the park, around my neighborhood, on vacation to site see, and just this week commuted to work for the first time. In all instances, it worked great.

Let me begin by saying, I shouldn't have hesitated to purchase this. This is by far the best scooter I've bought so far. I simply can't believe the thrust and power this little (heavy) guy puts out. It gets [ all ] of my tasks, commutes, demands done and I cannot be happier. So why the 4 stars? Well, for something sturdily(?) built such as this I can't get over the fact that a small chip in the road - not even a pothole - managed to take it out. I'm still recovering from the injuries (told you this was fast) as I speak. I really hope I can negotiate a solution with the manufacturers soon, the suspension seems a little bit janky as of late. Otherwise- if you were hesitant to buy this like me, stop - get it. No regrets. (Wear a helmet)

I've been a bike rider, walker most of my life because I'm bored in a car unless I'm going on an adventure. Got tired of biking to and fro, looked at electric bikes and scooters. Watched many YouTube videos on scooters, read articles everywhere, looked up specs, concentrated on negative reviews rather than positives, watched scooter "experts" on their YouTube stations etc.. long story short under $700 I was 95% going to buy the GoTrax G4 model period. Then I heard and saw the facial expression and smile and deep thought of one of the trustworthy experts get asked question on a live show between the G4 and the Horizen. That was the final piece I needed, that face he made. For the extra $200, this Fluid is worth it :). Oy problem I'm having is driver's in cars and onlookers I pass buy eyeballing my Horizen. I put it in a shopping cart and took it into Walmart with me and was being eyeballed by customers. Lol. That's the only downside - it's a great piece of machinery but watch out for those wanting to take it from you. Get a GPS tracker. Can't afford to lose a beautiful piece of machinery like that. I love the ride, power, the look and mine came delivered, greased and all. FluidFree put love into their product and I'm ecstatic what I got for $700. Enjoy Horizen Fluid riders..

I am running for political office where you win by "doing the doors" - going from house to house knocking on doors and saying hello to people. I purchased this scooter to make that process more fun, efficient, and to save wear and tear on my poor automobile. Well so far since Labor Day I've knocked on about 2,500 doors and here is how the scooter is doing: Battery - I wish I bought the bigger battery. All this stop and go drains it down so you don't get that many miles out of it. But usually by the time the battery is struggling I'm exhausted anyway The kickstand - this is where I have advice. I have opened and closed that kickstand 2,500 times! It didn't make it. One of the mounting bolts tore through its threads. I had to redrill and tap two more holes off to the side. But another 2000 doors and they will probably fail too. Overall I think they should have used 8mm bolts instead of the 6mm bolts to attach the kickstand. I would do this again, but with the biggest battery I can find. As far as the kickstand goes, I'll have to sell this one after 1500 doors before these bolt holes wear out also!

Disclaimer: I was prompted be an email to write this review right after purchase but wanted to wait to gain more experience. I have ridden 200 miles on it now and had it for several months. Pros: Smooth ride. Suspension is great, you could even cut through the grass from sidewalk and be alright. It's compact, while it's a touch heavy it does fold down for storage very well, easily as compact as lighter scooters. It's faster than many other commuter scooters. Cons: The top speed of 23mph is too generous. 22 is more realistic. Plenty of rides don't get me to 23 at all. I saw they even said it could go up to 25, which is absolutely false (in my experience). It's heavy. At 40 lbs it's barely light enough to be called portable. So it's definitely portable, but anticipate that if you think you'll have to carry it frequently. The display is next to impossible to see during the day, this is annoying to say the least, very impractical as you want to be able to see the battery level etc. The range seems to hold up fairly well, but I will admit I don't go very far. That being said the battery level seems to go down quickly on the display. I tested it till battery ran out once, and it seemed to deliver on mileage, but battery will display as low for a while before it goes out. If you're a worrier like me, you just might be paranoid a lot. Over all good scooter, but not without it's flaws.

I loved my Horizon! And I recommend it period. Super quality build and parts, best looking styling out there. Ultimately I exchanged my Horizon for a Mantis. I wanted more power and speed. The Mantis is absolutely amazing. The best scooter you can possibly buy without jumping up a great deal in price point. The Horizon is a perfect choice for anybody looking for the best commuting option out there.

After getting into electric scooters from rentals, I originally bought a Xiaomi m365. However, after a few months and a flat tire, I wasn't satisficed and sold it. I was looking for new scooter with: 1. Tires that are solid or easier to replace 2. More acceleration 3. More speed 4. More fun to ride 5. Under $800 The Horizon fits this perfectly, and under $700 with a coupon I found online. Delivery was very fast! The Electric Scooter Guide review is exactly right: https://electric-scooter.guide/reviews/fluidfreeride-horizon-review/ The Horizon has a totally different feel and aesthetic to the m365. The Xiaomi and Ninebot scooters feel like a consumer electronics device that has been de-costed to be as cheap as possible while still performing to spec. The Horizon is much beefier and industrial looking, which I really like. Lots of thick metal and large stainless screws and bolts. As an avid snowboarder, it also has great carve-ability on wide roads. If you are looking for an upgrade from cheaper scooters, I highly recommend the Horizon. I think it is the cheapest of the Unicool Titan T8 variants.
