fluid HORIZON V1 - 48V 10.4Ah - 23 miles Reviews

4.7 Rating 764 Reviews
Once I decided I was buying from Fluid, I had my heart set on a WideWheel. But, at the time the 2019 version was out of stock and I didn't want to spend quite so much for the Pro .. so I started researching the Horizon. Most reviews were very positive, so I settled for getting a Horizon. Received it a few days ago and love it! I really don't think I want to go any faster..lol. My Horizon consistently does 24/25 easily. The few hills I have on my commute I'm taking them easily at 20/21. GOOD: - Packaging was good .. everything arrived undamaged and on time. One day past expected delivery date, but that was because of July 4th holiday. - Build quality appears to be very, very solid. The whole scooter is "solid". - Great speed/acceleration for me. (160lbs) - Battery life seems good .. haven't pushed 15-20 mile treks yet. I have a 4 mile commute to work. No problems whatsoever with that distance .. PLENTY of battery left. - solid, comfortable ride quality. - nice manual .. everything explained well. MINOR COMPLAINT (very minor): - charge port location .. could get damaged if wheel is turned onto it while charging. Just be careful. - handlebar screwing mechanism does require re-tightening every couple/few miles. No big deal at all, but it is a fact. THINGS OF NOTE: - front light not really good for night riding (being very picky). Easily get a mountable light. - rear fender a little flimsy (being very, very picky imo. no issue whatsoever. But, it is the only thing on the scooter that feels "cheap") Definitely recommend the Horizon. It is now my main mode of transportation to and from work (depending on weather). I've only had it a few days, so we'll see how it holds up. It certainly feels like a quality product that should last. Even though I was really wanting a WideWheel, I'm very happy with this. Considering it is MUCH cheaper, and has a wider platform, I think it is a better fit for me. Fluid FreeRide has so far been a great experience. A lot of good reviews about this company, and so far my experience with them has been great. Their reputation played a huge part in my purchasing from them. Considering how many garbage scooters there are out there, I wanted to buy from a reputable place that sold quality stuff. Anyway .. thanks Fluid. Everyone be safe!

I like my new horizon electric scooter alot ! I've been riding the scooter for 2 days now and here is my honest pro's and con's . Pro's , fast and professional shipping , excellent customer service, clearly written and complete instructions. A very nice little tool kit is included, the build quality is strong and sturdy , easy to assemble you just tighten a few screws, easy adjustable handle bars, front and rear suspension are good and really make for a smoother ride, the scooter is fast but not crazy fast , excellent torc going up steep and semi steep hills ! No problem! I weigh 200 pounds, the rear tire which also contains the motor is solid rubber and won't go flat , rear red blinking lights and 3 small lights in the front which are designed to be seen at night more than for rider to see were your going at night, the scooter is somewhat heavy but not to bad and I like the weight because it makes the scooter hold the road better , very easy to fold and unfold , the handle bar grips retract so it makes for a smaller sleeker profile when folded up, Con's , the led read out for speed and battery etc. Are impossible to read in bright sun light, the thumb grip on the throttle is slightly uncomfortable, the rear brake works ok but could be better , no front brakes, the front tire is air filled and can go flat but the valve stem is easy to reach to add air if necessary unlike other scooters were adding air is a big pain in the butt , To sum the horizon electric scooter up it's a very well made and fast and nimble electric scooter with a great battery life ( approximately 20 miles on a charge ) the scooter is dependable and well worth the money ! I recommend buying this electric scooter and I recommend buying electric scooters from this company !!

I upgraded from The swagtron swagger 5, whoa what a difference! The New York City street tore my swagger a part in 3 weeks ( 40 miles). Multiple screws fell off, Locking latch fell off, Charging cap broke, tires are completely are bald, I have to tighten the neck/ stem them after each ride and the battery life horrible ( I average about 6 miles) not as advertise. I feel like to swag is kids scooter, with poor quality. My Horizon scooter is a totally different experience. I love the quality and the ride feels great. The speed, the mileage and battery life is as advertise. I emailed customer support before purchase and after purchase, Adam is very help. 300 miles strong on these city streets, NO PROBLEMS.

My two Horizon scooters arrived in perfect condition, assembled and read to ride. I travel for work and bring it with me. I usually in a holtel with nearby Restaurants and such and enjoy riding it to those destinations. When I enter to eat I just fold the handle bars down and walk it to the table where I then fold it and put it under my legs or beside the wall. I have received only smiles and envious comments regarding my Horizon scooter. I wish O had the trolly to attach to it to make it easier to pull around when I'm walking but I leave the handle bars folded but extended and easily pull/steer it with one hand. So I am pulling my luggage with one hand and steering the scooter with the other. The weight of the scooter is perfect for the size. The range, speed and power are also amazing. I drove around on the city sidewalks for a few hours at an average 8-12 mph and the battery still indicated full. Riding into the night with confidence was easy due to the light on the Horizon. The sidewalks were lite and so was the scooter, seen from far away. The top speed was about 21 mph and that is a bit fast for me on sidewalks...but just fast enough on a smooth street bicycling lane. With a little speed built up for hills it climbs pretty well for its size and weight. I'm glad I bought two because my wife loves her scooter too and now I can share riding time with her instead of having to share one scooter lol.
