fluid HORIZON V1 - 48V 10.4Ah - 23 miles Reviews

4.7 Rating 764 Reviews
The horizon is smooth, steady, and a joy to ride. I will definitely need replacement tires as I've been street slaloming and road carving (shredding). Please post a service manual to assist us with normal maintenance, and tire changes.

I have ridden this scooter 360km is 2 weeks. It was my first scooter and I must say I am very impressed. I prefer riding the scooter to riding my motorcycle and driving my car on these hot spring days/nights. The 10.4 battery lasts long and propels me through the city (I weigh 240 lbs.).

I really love this scooter coming from a Ninebot 2,3 and 4. The pros really outweigh the cons but they could tinker a few things to make this scooter more enjoyable. Comfort - Riding the sidewalk or pavement with a lot of gravel rides like a charm. Very smooth and I think the air filled tire helps a lot when hitting little bumps. The shocks on the rear also really help with the comfortable ride. The base is also very wide so it makes it easier to switch placement of my feet when riding longer distances. These things were not as good on my 9bot. This scooter feels more robust. Speed - Great acceleration thou you get a little vibration/ wind up noise that you can feel under your feet. This would be a good thing for FluidFree to look at and fix. I top out at 23mph and I weigh 230 pounds. Digital Screen - Beautiful large LED screen. Thou very hard to see in daylight but I don't really need to see it. I love that you can easily replace it if it breaks thou. They should also delete the unused sections of the menu unless they are adding something to them in an update. Braking and Acceleration Smoothness : Braking is top notch and I like the way they set this up. You can easily adjust the amount of pressure the brakes use by turning a little dial on the rear tire. The only issue and this is probably my biggest complaint is that slightly squeezing or releasing the throttle the scooter jerks even when put at the lowest setting. Maybe support could chime in on how to fix this. Lights - FFR knows about this issue. The main light is not good or safe for night riding. It's not bright enough and most importantly not angled up enough to see a safe distance in front of you. I'll be adding a light as well as fun LED strip lights that blink to the beat of music which can all be had on Amazon for cheap. If they can fix the acceleration and deceleration smoothness and the light this would be the perfect scooter. I highly recommend this for those that don't have to lift or carry their scooter often and want to get away from the junk Ninebot has to offer.

I fell in love with scooters while renting scooters from various rental companies in Europe. I finally decided to purchase my own, and following a lot of research, found the Horizon from Fluid Free Ride. I wanted it to be as lightweight as possible, but have a long enough battery to really enjoy it before I had to charge it again. I wanted enough power to climb hills, have excellent suspension, it had to fold to fit in my car and of course great breaks. This scooter met everyone of those must haves. I simply love it and so does everyone else that asks to take a spin on it. My 32 year old son just had to take it to the beach this week so I'm stuck without it :( Thanks so much for the great scooter!! Simply love it! Melissa W.

The scooter goes up to only 23 mph on standard 10.x ah battery. The full stem has some wiggle room and doesn't feel solid unlike even a cheaper gotrax scooter that feels super sturdy on bumpy road. The left handle has wobble to it and that can't be fixed as it seems to be the issue the way it's attached internally. Otherwise, is fairly nibble and picks up the speed fairly well. It's forgiving in bumps and feels sturdy other than the wobble. The handles never unscrewed by themselves unlike some other reviewers reported. The range is true to published.

I have over 150 miles with my Horizon after 2 weeks and I simply love it! It is a great scooter for everything you have to do during your day. I wish it went a little faster but I guess I will have to upgrade to a Mantis or a Widewheel soon for that! Overall, the Horizon is the best scooter for everyday riding as well as easy and quick commuting :)

I am new to electric scooters and am very happy with my choice. The Horizon is solid and the inflatable front tire really smooths out the bumps!
